I’m your host, a nationally (ASHA) certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Doctor of Audiology with over 25 years of experience working in a variety of settings, predominantly with preschool through elementary school children.

I am passionate about helping children find their voice, whether that means saying their first words; mastering a new sound; navigating a stutter; using an assistive listening device; enhancing listening skills, engaging socially with other children; or building language skills to fuel reading and learning.

Areas of special interest/training include: early language development; articulation/phonology; aural rehabilitation; auditory processing disorder (APD); patient/parent education & advocacy; oral motor speech disorders/oral therapy placement techniques; smart palate therapy; and low-tech augmentative systems for functional communication skills.
